Amazon has made the first 3 seasons of Mad Men available as regular DVD, Bluray, and Digital Download in HD for $9.99 each. This is one of those shows that I knew I wanted to catch up, especially lacking cable now, and I could not pass up a deal like this. So feel free to join in.

I think this is a series you really have to watch from the beginning. Once you get to know the characters I’m sure its a blast.

Haha, Elena and I both watched the first six or so episodes of season 1 and just didn’t like it. I didn’t really give a shit about any of the characters or their problems. Plus they had a bad job in a lame time period. It’s like in WWII movies when they cut back to civilization, it’s always terrible.

You get nerd appreciation points just for being you. I’m actually pretty into the aesthetic of the whole advertising agency in the 50’s vibe, but then again I’m partially in that world in modern times, it’s just interesting to me.
I didn’t like Lost, but I may be giving it a shot now that its available on hulu.
I took the bait and ordered the Blu Rays. The cast is amazing, so I just think it’ll be a show that takes a while to gestate. Like a baby Cloverfield egg.
