Star Wars: The Old Republic – Now with Commander Shepard!

Jennifer Hale is in SWTOR

This Christmas eve let us celebrate an amazing Bioware crossover event.  For a while now I’ve been hearing rumors that the best female voice actress in the biz, Jennifer Hale was going to be the voice of the Trooper class in Bioware’s upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. Well with this X-mas eve trailer those rumors have been confirmed!  You now have commander Shepard in The Old Republic. For those unaware of Jennifer Hale’s pedigree, she was the voice of the female Commander Shepard in Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2, as well as key characters in Brutal Legend, Metal gear Solid 4, Metroid Prime (Samus!), and dozens of other roles.  Check out this new SWTOR trailer starring Commander Shepard!

  1. She was also the voice of key characters in kotor 1 and 2. “Hi, I’m commander Shepard, and Jennifer Hale is my favorite voice actress on the citadel.”

  2. Her list of credits is so vast it could sink the internet. Having played both a female and male Shepard, her portrayal is by far my favorite. I’m going to secretly have to play a trooper on the side when this drops.

      1. I’m not sure, but I have a few inclinations about what class I might want to be. We could further plan to have a good assortment of classes for questing, etc.

      2. Scientist – There have been rumblings of possibly being able to switch factions after a whole lot of questing, but at this point nobody knows for sure except Bioware.

  3. Imperial Agent, not sure what subtype until I see a skill tree… and I might as well get this ball rolling now: The Galactic Empire are a bunch of fagasaurous rex’s… “So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb. “
