What day is it? I’m not even sure right now. My brain and body are officially fried in a wonderful way that only information overload could accomplish. I’ve seen a lot of talks, met a lot of people, and even gotten a look at a game or two. I’ll have to do a full write up later but for now I’m going to offer you, in no particular order, the talks I attended that I thoroughly enjoyed.

So It’s GDC week and for the first time ever, I’m out here – and it’s amazing! Seriously, I’m as excited as a little kid going to summer camp! (well, a confident little kid, not the kind who dreads leaving their parents and is overcome with a paralyzing fear at the sight of strangers).
Networking: You’re Doing it Wrong
Based on my interactions with friends, students, and fans, at conventions, meetups, and in general social situations, I’ve come up with the following list of Dos and Don’ts for networking within the industry. While a lot of this is common sense, I’ve found that our field seems to be a place where enthusiasm (or general awkwardness) often trumps formality.
