Hey! Melissa here recapping what was an empowering female convention for us female nerds – GEEKGIRLCON 2013!

I attended with Ash’s wife/my sister, Christina. It was her first time in Seattle and my first trip back in over ten years so we trampled around a bit and caused some mischief of our own.

Nat Recommends: FOX’s Sleepy Hollow

It’s fall premiere season, which usually means, well, not much to me. I am terrible about keeping up with television shows and usually wait for them to pop up on Netflix. Falling Skies follows the Mason family… Continue reading Comic-Con 2013: Falling Skies Panel – Skitters Took my Baby!

Comic-Con 2013: Hidden Gems – Five Panels Not to Miss

Every year that I go to Comic-Con I do my best to check out some panels and events that aren’t massive studio funded spectacles. Here some of the panels happening next week that you should add to your list.

What started off as a juvenile show aimed squarely at children, soon became a rich action packed adventure series for people of all ages, even the salty old ones. When we heard that the Clone… Continue reading Star Wars: Rebels – New Animated Series to Take Place Between Episodes III and IV
